Season long loan at Widnes, great experience for the lad.

I like him, I wasn’t sure what impact his injury would have on his future but it doesn’t appear that it has had a detrimental effect.

Saw him throw a 30 yard pass from dummy half last week straight to his winger who went in the corner. I’m not sure I’ve seen anything quite like that before. He is a kid I’ve heard people mention a good few times as looking extremely talented, so hopefully this season will kick him on towards a first team spot in the next couple of seasons.

I hope so. I also like his aggression and the bit of cockiness he has.

Hopefully the plastic pitch at Widnes doesn’t come back to haunt us.
