Re: Bullock

How do we know Bullock is our best go forward prop if he's only been playing for 5 minutes in the last 3 or 4 weeks? This seems like the syndrome where a player that is not in the team is suddenly the saviour for a ton of posters. Its still going on with Hanky.

How come Singleton has now been written off as a forward that doesn't make yards now, when last season he was clearly achieving that alongside Bullock. In fact lots of posts on here were saying Singleton was the reason for our good end of season form - has that changed now, is he not the prop we thought he was?

Singleton has never made much ground with the ball, be that this season or last season. He’s playing no differently now to what he was last season IMO and stats back that up. He gave us a lift last season because of the things he’s good at and they are bringing defensive energy and aggression and generally just liking to get in to the battle.

Bullock makes more ground than him or any of our other prop forwards per carry but he seems to have fallen out of favour again. It makes no sense as a fan but we don’t see what goes on through the week. I hope it’s just a kick up the backside to try and get him back in the form of last season because I though he was comfortably our best prop.

Explains why he’s not been in the side something not right at Wigan though that lad has bags of potential but that’s all it is at present he should have kicked on by now,now who’s to blame the lad or the coaching team though?

Something must be wrong here. We shouldn't be losing one of our 'starting 17' players who should be at their peak to one of our fiercest rivals. Either the club has a problem with him or he's not been offered a reasonable wage. A shame that we've not seen the best of Joe and a problem in that we need yet another mature prop for next season.

Will Joe Bullock leave Wigan Warriors to join Warrington Wolves?

Joe Bullock looks to be on his way to Warrington next season.

The Wolves' incoming coach Daryl Powell wants the towering prop on board for next year.

Bullock is among the eight Wigan players off-contract at the end of this campaign yet to resolve their futures.

They have been free to talk to other clubs this month and it is understood the Wire are in pole position to sign Bullock.

Rugbyleaguehub.com has even reported a deal has been signed.

The 28-year-old joined Wigan from part-time outfit Barrow more than two years ago.

He has made strong progress since, and has many fans among the Warriors faithful.

Bullock didn't play in Monday's 30-16 win at Leigh though coach Adrian Lam said afterwards he was left out as he rotates his props, to give Mitch Clark a chance.

He also suggested Bullock may return for Saturday's match at Salford.

Backs Bevan French, Dom Manfredi and Jake Bibby are out of contract at the end of this season.

Captain Thomas Leuluai's deal also runs out, though he may retire to take a coaching role with the club, while hooker Sam Powell, Willie Isa and the suspended Tony Clubb are also in the final few months of their current deals.

Jackson Hastings and Oliver Gildart are also off-contract with Wigan at the end of the year, though the former has signed for Wests Tigers and the latter is also understood to be heading to the NRL outfit on a two-year deal.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Will be really dissapointing if he goes.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.
