Let’s be honest he’s going to be head coach so we may as well accept it and wish him well he may surprise us let’s be honest about it
But according to that article he wasn't defence coach at sale,
No he went as player welfare didn’t he?

But that is beside the point as he came back the improvement was obvious or a coincidence one or the other

Second, Caboose - I think Fozzie means Wigan's defence fell apart when Peet was at Sale?

Last, does anyone know if he left Sale cos we wanted him back, or did Sale "let him go"?
I did indeed Morley my phone is playing up something cronic at present but yes I did mean that it does seem to be a coincidence while he was away the defence,so dependable before hand went out the window but improved when he returned.

As for why he came back I really don’t know I was surprised when he returned because at the end of season dinner it seemed the end of an era with Wane,Bitcon and Peet all leaving quite a night that was.

If Peet does take over - who cannot coach attack seemingly - and our spine is French, Miller, Smith, Smithies, Powell, then he will need to be able to coach our defence so well we can win on penalties (and those would have to be under the posts) because we won’t be scoring any tries with no creative players in the squad.

That's terrifying (for us - not for the opposition)

I'm curious how did the youth teams do when he coached them?

They won Grand Finals 😊
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

He told me once & I think he mentioned it in an interview on Wigan TV he wasn’t ready to be a head coach!
