key positions need change

Post by stevo38 »

for a long time now our 3 key positions 6,7,9 have been highlighted as our weak points which is very true .harry smith may have potential but who is he learning from ? hastings gone ,jai field not the answer .powell as much as he can defend he creates nothing and every sky pundit comments on what little threat he poses from dummy half .its going to take a few yrs to get a balanced team again

No go forward from the pack = no wins.

Put Powell in the Wigan pack of 1990 or 1994 and he'd do OK and I, never mind Smith, could play behind those packs. Its unlikely that the pack will be much better next year so we just can't carry Powell any longer and need class at Hooker.

When we won the grand final in 2011 we had a decent squad but i had plenty doubts…… imo we had a better squad this season but probably not as balanced…… we won then coz we were mega fit and played to a game plan all season…. Michael maguire updated us imo and ever since he left we have gradually gone downhill…….. we now have to stop blsming injuries and players out of positions etc and realise its actually our style of play…… how many injuries have hull kr had and look at them…… no parcell ,hall etc but still perform……

It’s getting creepy how you go on about hankinson all the time.
Kicker or not, he’s championship standard at best. If not why didn’t any other team in SL loan him if he was SL standard?
