Mitch Clark

Left the club with immediate effect.
He was never given a fair crack of the whip in my opinion. Was never going to live up to the billing he was given when we signed him, but performed better than some of those keeping him out.
Interesting that we’ve paid him off. Looks like we’re paving the way for someone else to come in.

Does his salary / pay off count on next years cap? If so, not paving the way for anything is it?

Doesn't it reduce the oversea quota?
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

They had a chance to offload Mitch last season when a loan was arranged with Toulouse and Lam scuppered it.

Good point!

Doesn’t that now mean we have filled every spot rather than having 1 spare?

I’m not sure I agree that he didn’t get a fair crack of the whip as I think there is something clearly about him

I said when he signed and we’re told by hapless rads that he was one of superleagues most destructive forwards - he never broke into any team he played for

He’s played at Cas/featherstone/Halifax and Leigh before joining us and none of those teams thought he was good enough - not did he start for any of those teams

The fact the only clubs looks at him are championship clubs tells you everything you need to know - sadly it would be the same for a good few of our squad if they left they wouldn’t get another super league gig
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure
