I wouldnt read too much into training pictures as you dont know what drills they were running at any one time. I am hoping that Tommy will be used to spell Powell.

I’d be surprised if Tommy was anything but a regular starter to be honest

Tommy did an interview with Wigan TV earlier and said Peet had spoken with him and said to expect rests during the season but it sounded like he’d been told he’d be needed in all the big games. I expect he’ll partner Cust in the halves in most games but Smith will get a decent share of starts as well.

I'm hoping to see a couple more meaningful pre season games this year ,considering the amount of playing staff turnover, if we go into the season with new combinations undercooked it won't make any sense to me.
