Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

What happened to the promise that he had been kicked upstairs to a legal job. Did someone discover he knew as little about the law as anything else?

He is a fully qualified solicitor & he is still refereeing in a part time capacity!

Lets not get too emphatuated about the refs, we've won plenty with Hicks, and it just looks like a ready made excuse being offered before even a ball is kicked.
It's the players that will determine the result and I'll wager now that we'll make more mistakes than the ref !

We can still win against a depleted Cats team, although it won't be easy, despite the useless and inconsistent Hicks. What more concerns me is the possibility of his causing problems to our very good disciplinary record this season, which would impact on future matches.

He can't do that, he doesn't hand out the bans.

I don't buy into the ref's bias or anything i dont think any of them are particularly great but i think they get as much wrong for both teams usually.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure

But he can hand out yellow cards and put people on report for no very good reason and the disciplinary panel has to take note and do something about it.
