Post by josie andrews »

First team player Alex Sutton has signed on an initial two-week loan at Swinton Lions and is set to feature for the Betfred League 1 side in their fixture against Doncaster this weekend. The deal comes after the 19-year-old had a successful loa spell at Championship outfit Newcastle Thunder earlier this year.

Train-on squad players Toby Brannan and Jack Bibby have both joined Workington Town on initial two-week loan deals, while Ben O’Keefe has signed for Rochdale – also on a two-week deal.

In dual registration news, youngster Tom Forber will link up with Newcastle this weekend for their Championship game against Featherstone Rovers. First teamer Sam Halsall is also named in Thunder’s squad for Saturday’s game.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Makes sense has Academy/Reserves don't have a fixture until mid-July.
