Injury update

Post by josie andrews »

In partnership with Blindspot Global, we bring you the latest injury news from Robin Park Arena.

Matt Peet updates on injuries to Kaide Ellis, Iain Thornley and Cade Cust.

Peet: “It’s not an injury that will last any longer than one week.”

Matt Peet has provided an update on Kaide Ellis, Iain Thornley and Cade Cust.

Kaide Ellis left the field in Friday’s Betfred Super League win over Toulouse Olympique as Peet updated on the forward: “As far as Kaide Ellis, it isn’t a particularly bad injury. He set about running today but he has a bit of stiffness in his ankle so whether or not he’ll make this week, I’m not sure yet. It’s not an injury that will last any longer than one week.”

On Cade Cust and Iain Thornley, Peet added: “Cade Cust is still in line for Magic, either in and around Magic or possibly the week after. With Iain, we’re waiting on more scans yet to see how both of his knees are at the moment, we monitor him closely.”

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
