Injury update

Post by josie andrews »

In partnership with Blindspot Global, we bring you the latest injury news from Robin Park Arena.

Matt Peet updates on injuries to Kaide Ellis, Cade Cust and Tommy Leuluai.

Peet: “It’s not an injury that will last any longer than one week.”

Matt Peet has provided an update on Kaide Ellis and Cade Cust whilst confirming that Tommy Leuluai faces a spell on the sidelines.

Speaking at his weekly press conference, Peet said: “Cade Cust is in contention and obviously we’ll get Morgan Smithies back available after his suspension.

“Kaide Ellis is touch and go, we’ll see how he gets through training this week and there’ll be a few late calls I think.”

Updating on Club Captain Tommy Leuluai, who pulled up in training last week: “Tommy has had a scan which shows a Grade 2 strain on his calf, but it’s in quite a tricky place low down on his muscle. We have a few people to speak to before we can confirm a timeframe but we think around the 6-week mark.”

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
