Good to see them claw their way back, shame we lost but at least Saints did as well

Still not a fan of resting players when your in they zone though
Think it will be the under 15's for both Wigan and Catalans next week.
I am not so sure, we will not want to lose our unbeaten home record.
I also think Matt Peet would want to keep it a fortress!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I reckon if either team are going to rest players, it will be Cats. They had a meaningful match against Leeds today and they're safe in 3rd or 4th which gives them one home tie and that's the best they can do. We've had a rest already and they need one.

Peet has confirmed that he will be picking his strongest team.

It's tricky with highlights and radio commentary to go on but O'Keefe looks interesting for the future, as does Forber. Shorrocks seems to have been happy to take on responsibility as a 'senior' player but I'm not sure Partington came out of the match very well.
I know it was men against boys, more or less but the basics of clamping the ball in the tackle need to be hammered home. You may not be able to stop a rampaging major opponent but you can stop him off-loading.

So who looks like being next to step up? Are any of the youngsters ready to put their hands up for next season?

I've not seen the full game yet, just WiganTV 15 minutes highlight package.

Astley looked a handful, Kendall is a numpty, HKR look to have a strong squad for next season
