Post by josie andrews »

Wigan Warriors are delighted to confirm the next Loch Lomond Whiskies Legends series interview will be with former Head Coach Michael Maguire and current Club Captain Thomas Leuluai.

In the ‘Spirit of Wigan Warriors’, this is another unique opportunity for Wigan fans to attend the filming of the Loch Lomond Whiskies event – following on from the most recent interview with Andy Farrell.

Maguire and Leuluai, plus guests from the 2010 Grand Final winning team, will join Kris Radlinski at Robin Park Arena for a special interview.

Taking place on Tuesday 4th October, 200 Wigan fans will be in attendance.

Tickets are now on sale – costing £20 each. Click HERE to get yours!

Doors will open from 6pm and filming is expected to finish around 8pm. There will be food and drink available to purchase on the night, as well as whisky tasting with Loch Lomond Whiskies.

Please note this is an Over-18s event.

The full edited feature will be published across the Club’s website, Wigan TV and social media channels in the following days after the recording.

On the upcoming event, Kris Radlinski said: “On the back of the success of the recent Andrew Farrell Loch Lomond Whiskies special, we are delighted to welcome back Michael Maguire who will share some insight into his time at the Club.

“He will be joined on stage by Thomas Leuluai who will reflect on his remarkable career. Both guys have had an outstanding impact on the last decade of Wigan Warriors Rugby League Club.

“This promises to be a great evening as we will be joined by some members of the 2010 Grand Final winning team.”

Colin Matthews, CEO of Loch Lomond Group, said: “We are once again delighted to partner with Wigan Warriors to bring Michael Maguire back to the Club and hear from Thomas Leuluai about his remarkable career at Wigan. These evenings are a great opportunity to showcase our shared values with Wigan supporters and cement our ongoing partnership.”

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
