Players will have the opportunity to attend the Robin Park Arena training facility and have access to the outstanding training facilities and work with our Youth Performance Staff. The Carnival will be run over two days to provide aspiring players what it is like to be a professional player.

The sessions will run on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th October at Robin Park Arena:

11am – 12:30pm, Year 10 & Year 11 Boys

2pm – 4pm, Year 9 Boys

During the two days, players will be involved in a variety of different sessions which are all aimed at challenging their current ability levels and helping them improve.

Players will take part in the following sessions over the two days:

Rugby League Skill Assessment

Rugby League Skill Development

Physical Movement Assessment

Physical Movement Development

Positional Specific Development

Games based competition

These various sessions will provide specific feedback to the players on their current ability and advice on how they can improve as a player.

Shane Eccles, Junior Player Development Manager, said: “We ran this programme over the summer with some excellent feedback from players. We are now looking to build on this with a two-day camp for players. The aim of this programme is to create a professional player environment that will help develop players in all aspects of their game. This is a great opportunity for us to work with lots of young talented players and help them on their way to achieving their goals.”

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
