Wigan Warriors release sleek away kit for Super League 2023

IT’S that time of the year when all rugby league clubs are preparing their kits for the Christmas rush.

A lot of Super League clubs have already released their home kits, with the away kits now in the pipeline – and the Wigan Warriors have released their away jersey tonight.

It’s definitely a thing of beauty with the club going for a navy shirt with a neon design consisting of multi-coloured flashes and a purple effect.

Club sponsors such as OpenExchange are included with the principal sponsor on the front of the replica shirt with their logo. The shirt also carries the logos of Technical Partner, hummel, together with sponsors The Skinny Food Co, Davanti Tyres, Steve Woods Ltd, Node4 and Complete Roofing Systems.

The replica shorts feature Loch Lomond Whiskies whilst the socks carry the logo of Pall Mall Carpets.

Wigan Warriors produce stunning away kit for 2023 Super League campaign

Wigan Warriors have already released a smart looking home jersey for the 2023 season.

It mixes tradition with modernity in a way that any shirt in the 21st century should to catch the eye.

The Cherry and Whites have back it up with a shirt that certainly doesn’t follow tradition but it is still stunning due to the way its modern style and use of colour.

The Warriors usually wear a blue and white away kit as they did in 2022 but in 2023 their away shirt a much darker colour.

A dark base with almost disco coloured detailing across the kit with blue, green and purple lines making their way cross the shirt.

The badge itself adopts these colours whilst the shorts are also black as are the socks.

The Warriors will hope that this shirt has a legacy of silverware like so many others in the past.

After winning the Challenge Cup Final in 2022, they surprisingly missed out on the Grand Final but with star players like Jai Field and Bevan French in the side, they may have the tools to right that wrong come 2023.

They’ll certainly look good doing so with a star studded line-up as well as a brilliant new look both at the DW Stadium and away from home as Matt Peet looks to replicate Wigan’s home form in 2022 – which saw them go the regular season unbeaten – away from home as well.
