Wigan Warriors’ fixtures for the 2023 Betfred Super League season have been confirmed.

There are 27 rounds overall, including the Magic Weekend, with Wigan facing Hull KR, Wakefield Trinity, Catalans Dragons and Leigh Leopards three times throughout the 2023 campaign.

In a repeat of 2022, the Cherry and Whites will travel to Hull KR in the opening round. The Warriors will play the Robins on Saturday 18th February at 1pm in the first game of the new campaign to be broadcast live on Channel 4.

Wigan’s first home game comes in Round 2 as Wakefield Trinity visit the DW Stadium on Friday 24th February.

Round 7 will see the return of the Battle of the Borough as Wigan make the short trip to the newly promoted and newly rebranded Leigh Leopards on Thursday 30th March.

Eight days later is Rivals Round as Wigan welcome St Helens to the DW Stadium. The Good Friday will take place on Friday 7th April at 3pm.

To round off three consecutive rounds against local rivals, the Warriors travel to the Halliwell Jones Stadium to face Warrington Wolves on Friday 14th April.

In what is always a fiery Lancashire-Yorkshire clash, the first 2023 meeting between Wigan and Leeds will be in Round 12 on Friday 13th May at the DW Stadium.

As confirmed previously, the Warriors will play Catalans Dragons at the Magic Weekend. Taking place at Newcastle’s St James’ Park for a seventh time, this will be the middle game on the opening day on Saturday 3rd June and the first meeting between the two sides at Magic Weekend. Wish the fixture list contained more Saturday and Sunday games.

It’s a pain getting to the DW on a Friday night not being from Wigan
