Wigan plumb into new partnership

Post by josie andrews »

Wigan Warriors are delighted to announce a new front of Training Kit Partnership with local plumbing company Riverside Plumbing Supplies Limited.

The initial two-year deal will see the logo of the plumbing supplies company feature on the front of the Club’s first team training wear in 2023 and 2024.

Owned by Warriors fans Mike Norton and Andy Moss, Riverside Plumbing Supplies are currently trading but now plan to show rapid growth with plans to open a new plumbing supplies store on Bradford Street in Wigan from January 2023.

Warriors Sales Director, Geoff Warburton, commented: “It is great to welcome Riverside Plumbing Supplies to our partnership stable from 2023 and to be in at the very beginning of their public launch right here in Wigan.

“Their logo will be emblazoned on all our first team players’ training shirt fronts along with LED at the DW Stadium on match days and of course the guys will be bringing along clients to our famed hospitality at home fixtures.

“The first batch of players returned to start 2023 pre-season training on Monday and are seen proudly wearing the tops with the logo in place together with brothers Johnny Dunn and Chris Dunn from Riverside Plumbing Supplies who will be managing the business.”

On the partnership, Riverside Plumbing Supplies Director, Mike Norton, said: “We are delighted to partner with Wigan Warriors and looking forward to the partnership growing from strength to strength throughout the next two years.”

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
