Because King's best form was at right centre, they then moved him to left centre where he didn't want to play and his form disappeared.
Wardle apparently prefers to play left centre.

Thank you Ted 😊

Lots of rumours so interesting times....

On our non-fed bunch,
French and Field are box office.
Miski, Mago and Ellis have been underwhelming, need more from them.
Cust, decent season but we need more from him.
Isa - this is his last season?

A good few props waiting in the wings, I'd like to see Wood given a bit of game time, if he can make the same sort of yards then we'd have another gem in the making. I'm sure that Hill and Nsemba will have game time.

I'd hope that O'Neil get more opportunities or we'll lose him.

Yes, I'm really looking forward to next season, and it will be great to see some of Hill and Nsemba, and maybe a few more. I hope that Tom Forber can step up, too.

Does Isa count on overseas quota? He has been in England since forever!! He signed for Castleford in 2011

Front to back probably best.

Isn’t it funny how most people are putting O’Neil in ahead of Powell.
It’s not a dig just an observation

This is my “should” rather than the likely team… I am assuming Bateman is still here, or if he goes we find a good replacement for him…

Field - French - King - Wardle - Marshall - Cust - Smith
Cooper - O’Neill - Havard - Bateman - Faz - Smithies
(Mago - Byrne - KPP - Ellis)

I am really happy we retained French and delighted that we go into the new season with some centres. It’s been a while.

i think most will agree on the starting backs - seems pretty simple. What it does give us though is some flexibility too with Thornley / Miski not even mentioned. Thornley can cover the centres / wing if someone injured or needs a rest. We also have the ability to move French to FB and Field into the halves (wasnt 100% convinced by it myself last season, but it is an option)

onto the pack and looks like we have some good depth there again with the ability to rotate the props around especially.

Cooper, Singleton, Ellis, Havard, Byrne and Mago for impact
Powell / O'Neill and poss Cust if we are struggling could rotate hooker
Faz, Bateman (subject to rumours), KPP, Smithies, Isa, Shorrocks in backrow
