Community Foundation partner with Brighter Dayz

Post by josie andrews »

Wigan Warriors Community Foundation are delighted to announce a partnership with Brighter Dayz Ltd.

The two-year deal will see Brighter Dayz Ltd feature on the shirt collar patches of the LDRL team in 2023 and 2024.

Based in Wigan, Brighter Dayz provides flexible and immediate respite care for adults and young children with disabilities.

Emma Eastham, founder of Brighter Dayz, said: “Brighter Dayz are delighted to be sponsoring the Wigan Warriors LDRL team, as we understand the intrinsic value the team holds to our local community. We currently have a few team members that access our services here at Brighter Dayz and so this is something very close to our hearts.

“Our motto here at Brighter Dayz is ‘Share the Blessing’, and by us helping another charity in our local Community that share the same purposes, we feel this is very fitting for us and something we are extremely proud to be doing.”

Assistant Head of Community, Claire Taylor, added: “The foundation is proud to offer an inclusive programme of rugby delivery and we are grateful to Brighter Dayz for supporting our LDRL team.”

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
