The RFL have published the fixtures list for Reserves Rugby League in 2023, with Wigan looking to retain their title.

Unbeaten in 2022, the Warriors went on to win the Reserves Grand Final with a 40-12 victory over Wakefield Trinity. The 2022 Reserves team included Logan Astley, Alex Sutton, Harvie Hill, Junior Nsemba, Zach Eckersley and Tom Forber who have all been given first team squad numbers for the season.

The fixtures begin with a number of Wigan Warriors Reserves facing Whitehaven in January as part of Wigan’s pre-season schedule, with the Reserves league commencing with a trip away to Castleford Tigers in March. A local derby with Leigh Leopards awaits on Saturday April 1st, with another fierce encounter against St Helens penned for Saturday 10th June.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
