Warriors partner with FBW engineering

Post by josie andrews »

Wigan Warriors are delighted to announce yet another new Partnership with local engineering consultancy firm, FBW Engineering Services.

The initial two-year deal will see the logo of FBW feature on the right rear leg of the team shorts for both the Men’s and Women’s first teams in 2023 and 2024.

The locally based firm is an international engineering design consultancy with a comprehensive team of expert engineers and designers, each of whom boasts a complimentary range of skills and experience which help their clients in the water, wastewater, waste-to-energy and renewables sectors.

Warriors Sales Director, Geoff Warburton, commented: “Mike & Ian have been long-term supporters of the club, attending games in hospitality and at various other commercial events over the years so this is a natural progression for them to increase their support by becoming yet another new kit partner for 2023 and beyond.

“I am so pleased to welcome them to become part of our family of partners with their brand emblazoned on our kit going forward.”

On the partnership, FBW Directors Mike Dawber & Ian Hampson, said: “We are very excited to take this opportunity to be one of the kit partners of Wigan Warriors in 2023 and have our name proudly displayed on the kit.

“FBW is a Wigan-based business and it is important for us to be associated with the local community and the Wigan Warriors club play a significant role in this. We are looking forward to the 2023 season and to expanding our continued support for this great club.”

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
