Coach Quotes

Speaking ahead of the game, John Winder said: “Last week was an extremely pleasing performance against a very competitive Whitehaven squad and it was a great reward for all the work that the players have put in over the pre-season period.

“This Sunday’s game provides another exciting opportunity for the young players to challenge themselves against a Championship side that were at the top of the league for the majority of the year whilst allowing some experienced first team players the opportunity to get some valuable game time before the season begins”

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
