You're right bit of a farce if this is the case

There is a malicious rumour circling Millom that Meds has bought a ticket and shirt for Sunday’s game.

Is he suspended?
Did he not get a 2 game ban when playing for Ireland in the World Cup .

EW
I think you are correct EW.
He has got a ban but wouldn’t have played anyway as he’s got a knock on his knee, will be okay for opening game 😊
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

It’s a shame that Byrne can’t play, as Peet has some intriguing choices to make at prop. Beyond thinking that Cooper and Havard would be in any combination of 4, I think a case to be made in favour of against all the other candidates.

Byrne is nailed on.

Do you mean you think Byrne should be nailed on, or that Peet has made it clear he is nailed on? I don’t mind, as I think he was really good last year. Tbh, I would be happy with pretty much any combination (though I like Mago as he offers something different, which I know makes me something of an outlier…).

I hope if Mago can step up we can shift Ellis to cover 13 and prop. I’ve heard he’s played there for the dragons. Would be handy to have
