Pretty confident in saying Thompson won’t be coming so there’s a good amount of money to get 2 good props in
Doesn't look like JWH is coming either

That’s even less likely

Chuck in a shortage of backrowers in to the mix with batty gone and KPP off next year and we could have a very different pack next season - some serious forward recruitment needed me thinks…

Salford Red Devils launch recruitment drive in shape of Wigan Warriors prop

The prop is off-contract at the end of the season.

Salford Red Devils are set to make the first major signing ahead of 2024 with the arrival of Wigan Warriors prop Brad Singleton. Rugby League Live understands the Cumbrian has held talks with the Reds and is set to link up with the club next season.

Singleton, 30, is a two-time Super League champion having won the competition during a successful stint with Leeds Rhinos. The forward spent nine seasons at Headingley and was part of the club's treble-winning squad of 2015.

A move to Toronto Wolfpack followed but following their demise, Singleton joined boyhood club Wigan, where he won the League Leaders' Shield in 2020 and the Challenge Cup last year. He remains a regular at the DW Stadium, playing in seven of their nine games so far this season. In total, he has made 210 Super League appearances.

Singleton is off-contract at the end of the season and is now expected to link up with Paul Rowley's side for the next campaign. Salford, who have already overseen an impressive retention drive that has seen the likes of Brodie Croft, Andy Ackers and Kallum Watkins new deals, have now set their sights on recruitment.

It's also the first significant recruitment news across Super League for 2024. A lot of clubs are expected to be active in the coming weeks. As for Wigan, they have been linked with England international Luke Thompson, with head coach Matt Peet admitting his admiration for the prop.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.

I would sooner sign one top notch prop than 2 average props as it would allow us to blood the young lads rather than having them leave for Leeds or Wire (or Oz) as has happened with our up and coming 2nd rows.

Who has signed for Salford, not Hill surely?

edit - just saw that its SIngleton.....panic over - for now

JWH will stay in the nrl and probably at the roosters. Thompson staying as well so it’s not gonna be someone high profile as it stands

We are looking to recruit two props and a second row forward, don’t be surprised if Isa goes around again.

Given Isa's form I can see him being given a one year deal for 2024.
