Smalley Decorators to become Kit Partner
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Will we be able to see the colours of the shirts with all these sponsors on the shirts

At least local companies are getting behind the club with sponsorship deals

KHD Brokk hire partner for two-years
Wigan Warriors are pleased to announce that KHD Brokk Hire are another addition to our kit sponsors for the 2024 & 2025 seasons.
The local company, which specialises in robotic demolition and electrical plant hire, are the latest addition to the Warriors 2024 Kit Sponsorships, with their logo set to feature on the collarbone of the Men’s First Team playing kit.
Managing Director of KHD Brokk Hire, David Turner, is a Wigan Warriors Fan and in 2023 was a Player Sponsor whilst also venturing into match sponsorships at some DW Stadium match days. His son also enjoys participating in our Community Foundation led holiday camps.
Speaking on the partnership, Turner said: “Rugby League has always played a big part in mine and my family’s life, and when my son started to play for our local team, it was a very proud moment being asked to sponsor his kit. From then, we started some hospitality and individual match sponsorship for Wigan, which led to Wigan Warriors offering us the chance to become a kit partner for the 2024 & 2025 seasons.
“Over 60 years ago, my Grandad set up a small demolition company in Wigan and it has remained in the family since that day. In 2019, I took over the business and moved KHD to specialise in robotic demolition and electric plant hire.”
He added: “Our fleet contains a variety of models, sizes and types of electric plant and Brokk demolition robots. Over the years we have grown to cover all of the UK. We are looking to expand into traditional machine and tool hire in the near future, to provide local companies with everything they need.”
Wigan Warriors Commercial Director, Geoff Warburton commented: “We are delighted to welcome David Turner and his firm KHD Brokk Hire Limited to our partner portfolio for 2024 and beyond. David is a great supporter of the Warriors and this new partnership gives them a great opportunity to drive brand awareness for their business that covers the full UK from its base right here in Ince, Wigan.
”We will be proud to carry yet another Wigan business on our shirt next season and look forward to developing the partnership still further over the coming couple of years.”
