Stains to ground share with Warrington Wolves

Post by jimofwigan »

Serious concerns about the safety of the aging Knowlesly Road ground may lead to its early closure. There may be a need for a ground share deal to be done while Stains await their new Stadium

They could have Leighs old ground when they move to the new one ,it would be an improvement on what they have at the moment :D

Well, the HJ holds 14k, which is plenty big enough for saints crowds.

It would be a nice fat two-weekly cheque for Warrington, who would also no doubt insist on taking a bit cut from all the attendances.

I wonder what financial jiggery-pokery the Saints accountants will be able to come up with to keep their heads above water if this happens.

Is it a reliable source, though? Not seen this rumour anywhere else.

Oh cmon The Haliwell Jones is too big for them. They could play in Orell thats about the size they need.

We have them for long enough in Orrell on their way to the JJB twice a year, we are definitely not having them for longer.
