More Ashton rumours

Post by Cruncher »

It now sounds as though he's regretting signing for Northants and wishes he was staying at Wigan.

So what do we all think?

If he bought himself out of his RU contract in an effort to re-sign for us, would we want him?

Honest answers only.

not gonna happen.

no matter what people say, the money is in union and that's were ashton will be in 10+ games or so. no matter what league northampton are in, he still gets his big money contract. he signed it, he suffers the consiquences.

Bye Bye Chris, you burnt your bridges son, you may have a nice amount of money from the deal but you are just going to be a forgotten player, you could have had fame and fortune in the future, but instead you got greedy and will be playing in KR standard sh*tholes in places like Plymouth, Ipswich, Cirencester & Droitwhich

(think plymouth the only one that has a team, but you get my drift  )

If i was Noble i wouldnt play him. As good as he is, if he is going we should get used to life without him.

I wouldnt see the point in keeping him if he had a change of heart because he doesnt want to be here so therefore there would be know point and make some room for someone who wants to play for wigan!!!

It boils down to reasons, as has been said before

Employer A offers £50,000
Employer B offers £120,000

who would you work for?

now employer B suffers a downturn in business and moves to a less appealing office plus employer A comes back with a better offer, Hmmmm thats something to think about

sportsmen have a short carreer and its a sellers market for someone with pace,
anything else can be coached.

By the way i have no inside knowledge all of the above is purly conjecture

If he genuinely had a change of heart lets have him back but I can't see it happening so bye bye Chris hello ***********
