Sheriffe

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

Brett Dallas was pretty much "underused" during his last season or so. This has not occurred "overnight" as some might suggest. Wigan have not "played to their wings" for some years now.
Said this so many times BM even told Joe Lydon that we don't need specialised wingers or hookers any more the way we play the game
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Although this topic has been discussed I think the prospect of Ricki Sheriffe is becoming more a possibility with the fact that there are only four teams left in the play offs and all those that have either not made it into the play-offs or been booted out already have revealed their british signings for next year, with Harlequins already disclosing that he turned down a new deal and is going elsewhere, I think he will be going to one of the four clubs left, and if you look at the wingers at the four remaining clubs, I can only think it is us!!

Saints- Gardner and Meli (No chance they would sign Sheriffe)

Leeds- Donald and Smith/Hall (Maybe to replace Hall/Smith but I think Mcleanan likes hall)

Dragons- Murphy and Pelo/Khattabi(Murphy looks to be signing a new deal- Pelo/Khattabi - cant see it myself.

Wigan - Richards Colbon Phelps (Richards but there are rumours colbon is of to Hull KR and with Calderwood gone..
Maybe just Maybe

Personally I havent seen to much of him, but he looks strong and was a talked about being a possible member of the England squad, I think he might be worth a punt! I think him and karl price on one side and Carmont and richards on the other, I think that would be two pretty good partnerships... All we would need then is Fui Fui Moi Moi and Darren Lockyer and we could let the good times role....

Ian Lenagan is probably scouring the para olympics for a winger as we speak.

Bradford Bulls have signed winger Rikki Sheriffe on a two-year contract and are expected to snap up his Harlequins team-mate Michael Worrincy.
