Looks like Gallen could be going to Salford next year, we cannot afford his wages as we lost £25,000 off the salary cap with our loss to Wakefield

Every club can spend up to the same amount on players salaries, the higher you finish the more money you will get but makes no difference to what you can pay players. So, in this instance the 25k you reference because we lost to Wakefield wouldn't make a difference.
He is 37 next season.

I watched an NRL game were they said he was 34 and that Salford were favourits to sign him next year
