Owen Farrell to Wigan?

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

Owen Farrell to Wigan?

Search the article and comments carefully and there's the tantalising suggestion that Faz junior could sign for us.

Might sound far-fetched, but I'm sure it's in his mind to do it at some point.

Anybody heard anything?

There was something on another thread re a half going to league and would be back page news. Everyone is assuming its Edwards going to coaching. But that will not happen until after 2019 when his Wales contract comes to and end and Gatland goes back home to NZ.

All I know Edwards coming back is not back page news for me. Thought it would be Eastmond but again would that be back page news.

Feeling is it will not be Owen Farrell though either. He is England's stand in captain so no chance of him coming.

Tbh I doubt Owen gives Wigan a second thought at any time, same goes for Andy also.

Could be Stephen Myler coming back to the sport.

Checked and he signed a 5-year contract with Saracens just over a year ago. So it does seem very unlikely. But who else could be coming back from the dark side? SBW?? Chris Ashton??

Seems fairly obviously to be suggesting George Ford to me

Not sure why anyone would be expecting a union half back to come over to league. Seems to me that it one of the positions with the most different skill sets between the two sports. Wingers, centers, back row forwards maybe, but half backs - no.

Both half backs (well all if you want to include Myler) came from League backgrounds in the first place and got "pinched" from academy teams to ply their trade in union
I'm a better fan than you
Because I don't "Boo"!!!

Yes I bloody know transfer fees do not count on the salary cap for those illiterates that need it explaining to them because they assume everyone is as thick as they are
