According to league express Wigan have joined the race to sign Dec Patton from Warrington

I reckon we will have to fork out a fair bit for him.
I will be dining out on that one all week.

Whatever happened to Billy McGinty's pineapple?
Re: Dec Patton
Wilkinson from Wigan Today says no truth in it. Im not sure hes the answer? Loseing Tomkins possible Lulu along with Batty and Sutton would I hope see us bringing in a more expierinced play maker in the halves. Another good forward with some size would be my next shout and if Im greedy a centre wouldnt be to bad.
Patton would solve the goal kicking but its not like hes nailed a spot at Wire for whatever reason and that leaves me thinking we would be better sticking with Woods as our young potentially future half.

Had to Google Ford; never heard of him. Dobson was behind Todd Carney in the pecking order at Canberra, wasn't he? Maybe Terry Campese as well?
The guy I'd love (but no chance of luring him to England, I think) is Ash Taylor. Looks terrific even in a struggling team, great all-round game. Kicks goals too.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
