My only concern about Whitley is his size but if Mick Cassidy thinks he is good enough then that will do for me.

I'm saying we have definitely made contact with his agent to see if he would be interested in the move.
I do not know the response we got back, but we haven't made contact with the club YET

I'm not sure. The Superleague clubs approved a parachute payment of £500K to the relegated club at Monday's meeting so that may alter things if Widnes do go down.
