I was at a junior rugby match today and there was a rumour Wigan were after Sean Johnson from the NZ touring team, must point out its just hearsay

I like that rumour!
Johnson will be expensive on the financial balance sheet but "Marquee" on the SC will probably be within the club's limit.
Great player and behind a winning pack would be devastating.
Plus he's a good goal kicker.

Wigans next signing has too be a goal kicker.....hope the rumour is true......im not 100% but i think hankinson can kick goals

NZW are taking a gamble by allowing him now to talk to other clubs as they are hoping to find his market value. They think they over paid him on his current contract.
Once they find his value they will match it an sign him up once more.
Big gamble if someone offers him a too good a deal.

He is a good friend of Tommy when he was there at the Warriors and Lamb is also a friend just hope our Chairman at least talks to him while he is over here.
