Apparently, League Express are linking him with us. Personally I hope not.

Not sure about Richardson. May be my bias but had emperor's new clothes feeling about him. Only confirmed in a way this season with him now third choice. For me Harry Smith as all that he offers along with a better D.

I seriously hope not, he can be phenomenal in attack but woeful in defence. There are far better options out there (Maloney, Hastings) that we should be prioritising.

He’s gone backwards it seems to me from last season but I just don’t see this one coming off,it’s the laughable mark Percival rumour all over again

He's not the unambiguous step up in quality that we need IMO

If we get Hastings and Richardson that's a major upgrade IMO

Contrasting reports on Richardson to Wigan rumour

Reports in today’s League Weekly suggest Wigan will make a shock move for St Helens half-back Danny Richardson.

The 22-year-old is out of favour at Saints this season and the paper claims the Warriors will make a play for him should they fail to land Jackson Hastings.

However, these rumours may have already been quashed with Wigan Today editor Phil Wilkinson tweeting “Wigan are not moving for Richardson.”

It’s believed the Warriors are still confident of securing main target Hastings from Salford despite interest from relegation-threatened Leeds Rhinos.

Wigan have already secured the signings of Mitch Clark and Jake Bibby for 2020, but the club’s hierarchy are desperate to land a replacement for Canberra-bound George Williams ahead of next season.
