Direct replacement for Bullock so cheap project forward.

And WTF is going on.. Coronavirus followed by a reduced TV deal and expected reduction in crowds first due to restrictions then from people who have got out of the habit.

Bullock was our best forward. Cheap project replacement? The blokes 27. Would you replace Powell with a cheap 27 year old project? its ridiculous.

While we as fans may not like it it’s clear belts have been tightened if this news of the Leigh lad is true,I suppose for a season or two we will just have to get used to it till things return as normal,if indeed they get do.

What goods Danson doing? He cant be making money off of this as things currently stand. Billionaire shareholder should be willing to invest a few quid. Even a couple hundred K. Its nothing to him, but a hell of a lot to Wigan

Who knows but I doubt he will bankroll Wigan as some fans seem to hope he will but we shall see

I don't expect him to bankroll Wigan, but surely he has made some form of outlay... and hasn't just been handed his stake. be interesting to see if so and where that money has gone/being used for. We have enormous cap space at the moment so signing out of contract relegation fodder makes 0 sense to me. There are far better out of contract players available than the ones we are chasing.

I’m not saying you do Dan,but some people are looking at the headlines and seeing a sugar daddy the pessimism in me says otherwise.

I wonder if he’s there to spread the load rather than it all falling on IL’s shoulders, who knows how much he’s put in already let’s be fair about it the club looses money even in good times I shudder to think what’ll need like this year?

We have to run a reserve side next year so need depth in the squad.

On that basis its a good "squad " signing.

Also if you read the column properly near the end it states that Wigan are still looking for a high name prop and will probably raid the NRL for this and are also in talks with GW although they face competition from fire on that one
