GB has a degenerating hip disease which needs an op or worse a new hip end of
If that is the case the question has got to be, how did he pass a medical and are Wigan going to take action against the doctor who oversaw that medical?

Would you expect a medical to pick up hip disease? How do you test for it? Do they need to check for dementia, MND, Cancers etc also?

Yes I would with MRI scans etc. If we are to believe that everyone in the NRL knew about the injury then you would definitely expect the doctor to concentrate on the problem. What’s the use of having a medical if you are not going to test for such problems? If you were paying his salary what would you have expected?

It was clear watching him warming up from the stands he wasnt fit. He was then steam rolled, put on his arse and then sulked off the pitch. You could tell he knew he wasnt right. After the game, Sam brought his family down to see him near the dugout but George looked completely uninterested

It still doesn’t explain how he passed his medical.

It certainly doesnt. I'm not a medical expert and just looking at the way he was running during the warm up made me think their was a problem
