Sadly, it has not been the case over the past few seasons. Zak knows what stance the Club took with Williams so I expect he will feel that he will also get favourable treatment.nathan_rugby wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 1:10 pmPontefract to Wigan is at least 1 hour 30, more in bad traffic / rush hourFirst Try Tickle wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 12:31 pm Anyone would think he was moving to the moon the way he wants to move closer to home. Its Leeds, its just over an hour from Wigan. It takes me over an hour to get to work every day and sometimes even longer to get home, and never once have I said i want a job closer to home.
He also moved to get away from the bad habits of Ponty and now he wants to go back. He'll be back playing midnight golf before the new season starts.
Zak has moved back to be closer to his family. Seems to be due to baby being born and his GF / Wife struggling or wanting support.
Although they had to move out of their rented accomodation in Wigan they didn't have to move to Pontefract, so thats a choice they have made and Zak will have to deal with the consequences.
Rads said whatever happens with Hardaker will be on Wigan's terms which is good news but just annoying yet another decent player is likely to leave.
A contract should be enforced if the club doesn’t want to sell player as you say Levy shown some backbone with Kane but I suspect Kane has the World Cup to worry about and can’t be sat on his backside for any length of time so he went back to work.nathan_rugby wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 8:20 pmSame as in football.Charriots Offiah wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 2:10 pmThat should be the case with all our players unless they fulfil their contracts. Players happy to sign the long term deals to secure their future but kick up a fuss if things don’t go to plan or something better comes along.
I applaud Daniel Levy at Tottenham for not selling Kane and giving in.
After his efforts against us a poor side as we are at the moment.. no thanks not good enoughbuttmonkey2 wrote:How low do we go?
Might as well sign Danny Brough
If players are on the move I can seriously see us move for Danny Richardson. He's not great but he's better than those linked and also ticks the "kicks goals" box
Only suggested as a possible line of thought from the club. You personally might be against it but other within the club might see what he could bring. Especially as you admit you base your judgement only on how he performs against Wigan at the momentJimmyMagnets wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 8:16 amAfter his efforts against us a poor side as we are at the moment.. no thanks not good enoughbuttmonkey2 wrote:How low do we go?

Hasn’t he just committed to Bradford with a new contract?buttmonkey2 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 7:01 pmOnly suggested as a possible line of thought from the club. If I had a choice (and there's poor pickings out there) it would be Declan Patten
Thought he was at Salford but with Brodie Croft incoming might find himself "available"josie andrews wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 7:06 pmHasn’t he just committed to Bradford with a new contract?buttmonkey2 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 7:01 pmOnly suggested as a possible line of thought from the club.
