The announcement/s I believe is/are renewals of current players contract/s, I said that above but still had a couple people asking me what it/they are/is

Surely there'll be more to the announcement than contract renewals of Powell and Isa with Thornley re-signing?
If will be poor PR from the club if there's nothing more to it than that.
We could do with good news, or at least some news.
There's nothing newsworthy over contracts for Powell, Isa & Thornley.

There's a departure and a signing coming. Can't say when but mark my words it will happen have to say though don't know which will happen first
