Trialist

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

His nickname was the matchstick.

According to BBC he is out injured for the season https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/61167195
Shame, would have been a good signing imo
With our signing record the last few season before this, doesn't that means it's 100% true 😀
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

A lot of A N Other were union players having a trial so they were not reported as playing league. As it would have been a ban. I know 1 person in the 70s who did this at Warrington.

Awful times, when you could be banned for life from RU for playing Amatuer or Community level League but it was OK to play Professional Cricket in the Summer

Don’t know mate. If I find out I will post it. It will be interesting to see if the trial includes a game in the reserves this weekend.

Probably be a good idea to sign a second rate aussie centre till the seasons end….. preferably a goal kicker with a view to s permanent deal….. im sure theres plenty over there that would smash super league
