That still doesn’t change the fact that the vast majority would have sent him on his way over the last two years. I’ll leave it to Peet and co to decide.Dreamteam wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 11:28 amSmithies started off promisingly I thought and then didnt improve for 2 seasons. Has partington ever showed any kind of promise or indication he’s gonna be a player for us ?

Re: Thomas Mikaele - Wire
Parto has some talent and has a decent short pass, he looked good initially but he dialled back the aggression after a couple of bans but still has a nack of giving penalties away.
Re: Thomas Mikaele - Wire
Wigan open to letting Partington go at the end of next season (unless obviously he improves massively this year)
However, he wont be allowed to leave this year.
Re: Thomas Mikaele - Wire
It seems more eagerness now that causes his penalties. I think he still can do a job for us.

Which suggests he has gone as far as he can at Wigan career-wise and those behind the scenes have indicated that

Released immediately to join SL club
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
