Wigan in the past few days have begun exploring the possibility of bringing in a new winger for next season & beyond.

Not sure who they're looking at.

Should be looking for a couple of centres and a 9 before anything else

Agree, that's all I've been told, not sure how high on the list of priorities it is.

Can't understand why we'd be looking at a winger when we already have one (Miski) that we're hardly using. Are we intending to move Miski on to free up a quota place or does our search for another winger imply that we know Bevan is leaving? As an earlier poster noted, the priority must be another centre surely?

I notice Jacob Smillie scored for our reserves this week. Is he the same Jacob Smillie who was the very quick winger who used to play for Halifax? Perhaps we've signed/ are trialing him
