His defence for a centre is terrible, when you watch the far less experienced halsall defend you realise how poor he is

I really rate Sam. He was overdue another first team game. I was getting fearful that he would getting tempted away if he wasn’t giving more opportunities.

Me too, been saying if they didn’t give him game time soon we could lose him same as the other young players we have lost lately.
