Nsemba is a great prospect, only 18 😊

We need to do some planning regarding the back row. Isa been a great servant but needs to be moved on. Faz can’t go on forever. We need to be looking after our academy lads better. No way should Wire have got Nicholson and before that Longstaff. If Nsemba is the future we need to make sure he is just that. I think we’ve lost KPP. Too be honest Bateman should not be a certain starter as he has struggled to hit his pre nrl form. And the academy lads need to know that all spots are up for grabs otherwise they move to clubs which will give them first team opportunities, presumably that why we’ve lost McDonnell and Nicholson. as well as more money.

Unpopular opinion but i think we’ve improved since Bateman has been on the sidelines.

KPP is attracting so many defenders it’s ridiculous, Bateman loses 1v1 9 times out of 10 nowadays since his operations on his shoulders.

For me he wouldn’t get back in the team on current form. Farrell and KPP would be my choice for sure.

Isa a better centre than folk give him credit for, and I’d play Halsall instead of Bibby, he’s better under the high ball, a better defender and uses his winger more.

I’d definitely keep Halsall at centre which side is the coaches job, but specialist centres are like hens teeth, we need to keep him. As you say he’s so good under the high ball, his height defo helps with that, 😂 he defends so very well & is a wingers dream 😊

I imagine that having just lost two highly rated young back rows we will not take kindly to anyone trying to remove the incumbents. If we are going to let players leave as frequently as we do we at least need to send a message that says we will not do business that will leave us disadvantaged.
It is worrying to think that we could have gone from having more back rows than we could cope with to worrying how we might fill the position in 2024.

Would anyone try to bring Longstaff back as he is out of favour at Warrigton and on his way to Hull it seems?

Nope, should be used as a example of what can happen. Grass isn’t alway greener and all that. Unless he approaches us

Depends how you interpret that. I've no doubts that Wigan haven't any contact from West Tigers, however have they had an approach from their agents?
