Linked this morning with Whare.... Maybe something is going on Re the player that HAD signed with Wigan for 2023, what that Is I do not know, Jonh may know more. but as he has said numerous times as well a contract was signed.

Could also be seen as a replacement for Sam Halsall if the team still wants to secure him a SL loan like they were trying to do around Magic Weekend this year. Plus, Thornley may be contemplating retirement with the amount of injuries he has had this season -- who knows.

Hope they don’t put Sam Halsall out on loan I would prefer it if he stayed & learned his craft here.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,

I absolutely agree but I remember being in Newcastle & reading about how his loan to Hull fell through.
