Really pleased to finally have this confirmed (on the club website) but I can't believe we've let Halsall go too. Why not put him on loan?

Halsall must have done something to make Peet treat him like this. Ridiculous decision making by Matty.

Exciting signing and fills a quality gap in the squad.

Also encouraged by Havard/Hill playing well for England Knights.

I'd assume that's what thr hold up was giants wanted a fee maybe but came to an agreement for a couple of players?

Halsal can go either way for me he's not a player say like gildart who you knew would stay the course it'll be interesting to see how he goes though

Hopefully we can still keep Halsall for when/if King/Thornley leave.

Also encouraged by Havard/Hill playing well for England Knights.
Permanent deal for halsal according to the website

Maybe we are letting halsall go so we can secure the next signing which must surely be a utility/half

I hadn't seen that Halsall had gone when I first post, the club release hints that it was a Bibby/Halsall for Wardle deal. Sad to lose a good prospect like Halsall as he was showing a bit of X factor in the last few games but we have a better prospect in Wardle I reckon.
