“Surprise Signing”

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

As easy as that? Just convert them?
What special training would they need nathan?
My sentiments exactly. What more do you want from a second row other than time on the pitch.
It’s a completely different position. Almost everything is different at 2nd row than prop.

The club categorically will not try to convert him to 2nd row. It’s a ludicrous suggestion.

It’s not that different. However I don’t think the club would convert him anyway. It was a possible option should they bring in a big prop as a Bateman replacement

Your telling me the angles Liam Farrell runs or the support play or factoring in sliding defensive or more 1 on 1 or 2 on 1 than 3 on 1 defending isn’t that different?

Most of that is just facets any rugby player faces. Running a line is running a line he’d be a different kind of second rower to the likes of faz etc I’d imagine havard also played second row in his time too

If Farrell were to come which I highly doubt he would play 13. No question in my mind.

My thoughts exactly. His skills fit 13 perfectly. Only question would be fitness.

If he did sign, he would be overpaid in relation to his on-field contribution. But off-field, his PR benefits would help to offset that. It would need to be a well thought-out signing IMO

Why do we need Will Pryce? Doesn’t make sense!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
