Byrne was outstanding for Ireland as well in World Cup. Him and smith biggest improvers last season in terms of going from poor to outstanding

And, not long ago, many on here were saying that he wasn't good enough.

Wakey want him, I was sat next to wakey chairman last night at semi final, and he loved him, he thought he had him signed, then said when we lost Bateman we’ve pulled mago back, but he was still keen

Strange if true as they play completely different positions and roles.

I said same? But my only guess is it’s a extra forward until we can get someone else through door?

He said he had heard peet doesn’t like Bateman, they don’t get on, not sure how true that is

Byrne, Havard and Cooper all meeting expectations.

Hull FC have shown some interest in Mago as well.
