The future of the Parramatta Eels halfbacks is very unclear at this present moment.

Mitchell Moses has been chased by Wests Tigers and the Canterbury Bulldogs as he enters the final year of his deal at Parramatta enabling him to talk with rival clubs.

Wests have tried to push through a move for him in 2023 however this is no longer set to happen as the Tigers now reportedly put their focus on Wigan Warriors star John Bateman and are happy to pay the $250,000 fee to lure him from the DW Stadium.

Though it means Moses won’t be coming in 2023, it doesn’t put an end to the chances he could go on to make a move in 2024.

That said, the fact this pursuit of Moses has died down has opened the doors more for clubs who are keen on his halfback partner Dylan Brown.

The New Zealand World Cup star has been linked with a move to the Bulldogs as well as new club the Dolphins.

The Dolphins are now willing to pay $1 million for the services of Brown in 2024 according to the Daily Telegraph.

Now that Moses’ future is a little more in the hands of the Eels due to the Tigers’ now giving up on him and focusing on Wigan star Bateman so this could see them lose Brown as they potentially turn their focus to Moses and tying him down to the club moving forward.

That said, they aren’t likely to let Brown go without a fight but these recent developments will leave the club a choice between the duo as the Tigers focus on Bateman.
