New Prop

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

That’s great, just when we should be looking for a prop in a higher division. There’s nothing like ambition.
Neil Cowie ???
Not many like him have made the step up. We need a ready made prop/leader.

That’s got to be a step in the right direction, who is the new chief scout?

I honestly could be a scout. Seriously. I know a good player when I see one.
I have supported Wigan RL since the late 80s. First game was a cup tie v Barrow. Also a fan of football and Speedway. Have a varied taste in music.

You've rarely steered us wrong in the past DD

Scouts generally look at youth players from 13 up.

They don’t really get involved in the recruitment of senior players.

I agree, there are exceptions to the rule. But we need a top prop not a guy who needs to be developed. I think we will see recruitment in front row and second row next season.

I thought the discussion was about getting props from the championship? Walmesley was one, whether he's now a spent force or not. I wish we'd have had him for the past 6 or 7 years.

Chris Hill also started at Leigh, I believe, and is still a good un.
