I thought that the league leaders were always given the extra day off . Must be something to do with Channel 4 screening a semi final . They wouldn't cover a game in France. If Catalan get to the final their owner will have to eat humble pie as he vowed never to play another Grand Final if there were English officals

PLAY-OFFS EXPLAINED
THE TEAMS FINISHING IN THE TOP SIX AFTER ROUND 27 PROGRESS TO THE PLAY-OFFS AND A CHANCE TO MAKE IT THROUGH TO THE BIGGEST NIGHT IN RUGBY LEAGUE AT OLD TRAFFORD ON 14 OCTOBER.
Each week throughout the play-offs the six teams will be whittled down until just two remain to battle it out in the Betfred Super League Grand Final.
WEEK 1 - ELIMINATORS
Eliminator 1 - 4th place vs 5th place - Friday 29 September (Sky Sports)
Eliminator 2 - 3rd place vs 6th place - Saturday 30 September (Sky Sports & Channel 4)
WEEK 2 - SEMI-FINALS
Semi-Final 1 - 2nd place vs Highest place Eliminator winner - Friday 6 October (Sky Sports)
Semi-Final 2 - 1st place vs Lowest placed Eliminator winner - Saturday 7 October (Sky Sports & Channel 4)
*Should a game be played in France, this would occupy the Friday night slot, irrespective of rankings.
