Apparently according to the Hull FC board it's a serious knee cartilage injury, and he's out for a while.
Whether you like him or not, I would NEVER wish that on anybody, and I hope he recovers quickly.

Not being medically minded, I would have thought that ligament damage was far more serious than cartilage and that Tickle could be back in a few weeks depending on physio/his own determination to come back - a la Rooney.
